In 2020, Ibis River Studios partnered with Queen Afua, a globally recognized wellness leader, to develop the Sacred Woman Series—a seven-part documentary exploring universal rites of passage, women’s wellness, and the life story of Queen Afua herself. The goal was to create a visually stunning and culturally resonant body of work that would honor African spiritual traditions, inspire generational healing, and provide actionable tools for holistic living. By blending intimate storytelling, archival history, and cinematic visuals, the series was designed to serve as both an educational resource and a transformative viewing experiencebridging ancient wisdom with modern audiences.
